Educated at Harvard Law School and licensed to practice law in New York, Paul Russell’s distinguished career has been based in New York City, as a Partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius and LeBoeuf, Lamb, Leiby & MacRae (now Dewey & LeBoeuf), and in Bangkok, as the Founder and Managing Director of Pacific Legal Group, a leading law firm that specialized in the life sciences prior to its merger with Tilleke & Gibbins.
Now Of Counsel at Tilleke & Gibbins, Paul draws upon his extensive experience in the law and life sciences to advise clients in diverse industries in every aspect of the regulatory sphere relating to the Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) product registration and regulatory compliance. Widely regarded as an expert in this field by leading legal publications, such as the Practical Law Co., Paul says, “The successful registration of food, pharmaceutical, chemical, and cosmetic products requires a multidisciplinary team of lawyers, pharmacists, and scientists.”
Paul also engages in a number of community service initiatives, including heading targeted advocacy and education campaigns on intellectual property rights and investment in Asia.
